I guess you could call me a serial collector of the funky wondrousness that springs from the creative, imaginative mind and talented hands of Cindy Sampson. I adorn my body with her upcycled jewelry and clothing, my walls with her art. It's not uncommon to find other artists these days who make "junk jewelry," but Cindy's work was among the first I saw out there. To this day, her inimitable, fresh style — sometimes wacky and laced with good humor — sets her apart from the pack. She is truly an American original. And her work is irresistible. I should know. It's a rare day at the local farmer's market (where she regularly sets up shop) that I don't leave with a new necklace! Do NOT miss an opportunity to become a Cindy Sampson collector, too!
